The collection consists chiefly of papers, newpaper clippings, and photographs of the planned community of Reston. It includes a copy of a planning memoranda on Reston, 1962, by Arthur D. Little, Inc., townhouse fact sheets, status sheets, and an informational sketch. There are also postcard scenes of Heron House, Lake Anne Village, and Washington Plaza. There are aerial surveys and scenes of Reston; and, photographs of Lake Anne, Lake Anne Village Center, Heron House and Washington Plaza, Fellowship House, Washington Plaza Baptist Church, Lake Anne Elementary School, and of George W. Saunders, Jr., executive vice-president of Gulf Reston, Inc. A map of Columbia, Md., is included.
